For my infographic, I chose to do the cost of living in Pennsylvania,Pennsylvania. Our cost of living indices is based on a US average of 100. Anything below 100 means that category factoring into the cost of living in Pennsylvania,Pennsylvania is cheaper than the US average. Anything over 100 means that the category factoring into the cost of living in Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania is more expensive than the US average. For example, in my infographic the average cost of living totals to 85% (85/100) which means it is cheaper to live in Pennsylvania than other areas in the US. The following categories that make up the cost of living include food, healthcare, transportation,housing,utilities, and miscellaneous goods and services.There are also specific percentages of categories for the cost living included as a weighted amount. This gives readers an idea of the average cost of living in Pennsylvania overall.
